The experience

Quad biking

Discover more than five miles of mixed quad biking terrain spread across 270 acres at our outdoor activity centre near Redhill and Gatwick in Surrey.

Ride your own quad in a convoy led by an experienced instructor. The route moves from open straights and winding tracks to bridges, ditches, tunnels, inclines and purpose-built obstacles, giving every session plenty of variety.

Your experience begins with a full safety briefing and familiarisation with the quad, controls and track rules. You will build confidence on a short beginners’ course before joining the main route.

The complete experience lasts approximately one hour, including the briefing. Longer sessions and larger-group options may be available by arrangement.

Good to know

What to expect

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before your booked time so we can get you signed in.
  • The experience lasts approximately one hour, including the safety briefing.
  • Your instructor will explain the controls and track rules before starting on a short beginners’ course.
  • Once everyone is comfortable, the instructor will lead the convoy onto the main five-mile route.
  • A disclaimer must be signed before riding.

Booking your session

  • A minimum of two people normally applies.
  • Individuals are welcome to call because we may be able to add you to another session.
  • Groups larger than ten should contact the team to discuss suitable arrangements and pricing.
  • Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Important information

  • Minimum age 16
  • Parental consent required for under-18s
  • Not suitable during pregnancy
  • Participants must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • A general good level of fitness is required
  • A balaclava must be worn under helmets; bring your own or purchase one on site for £5
  • All riders must sign a disclaimer

Xsite Leisure reserves the right to refuse permission to take part, or to stop a session early without refund, if a participant rides dangerously, misuses equipment, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or another substance that may impair their ability to participate safely.
